WOOOOW!!

Man oh man has a lot happened since my last update! Let’s see here...

Wed. night was my final band concert at Tucson High. (Still don’t know how I feel about this one...=\ I’m happy it’s done, but sad that, that was the last time I’ll ever get to play with those people ever again...and because it’s just one more thing to show me that my high school career is come to an end...) It turned out really well though!! I must say, I was quite shocked! =P There were a few little “oopses” in my solo’s accompaniment, but they got right back on! =D Christian and Garrett did a wonderful job! Garrett and I got the John Phillip Susa Award! Oh man! So freakin’ awesome! =D My wifey and Alex won another award too!! WOOT! =P The jazz band was on fire! Oh man!! Moanin’ was the best freakin’ song ever!! SAM!! YOU ROCKED!! =P I even improved (I have improved before, but I actually did well...!!) =O Soooo yeah...the concert rocked. The end. =D After the concert I went home, changed, and hung out with Sam for a while. We were going to hang out with Fred and Roger, but we decided to just chill with the Coffee Exchange people instead! =P After a while of that, we went for a walk and eventually ended up at his place where we watched some tv and talked for a long while.

Thursday was SENIOR DITCH DAY!! OHHHHH YEAH!! =P Fun times right there!! I woke up pretty early so I could meet up with Christian, Katy, Leanna, and Adina, but I wasn’t feeling too well and ended up falling back to sleep. I woke up at around 10 and pulled myself out of bed. Sam then came and picked me up. We had a wonderful picnic out in his garden. It was soooooo nice! Kylin was supposed to come, but had to go to school. =( *shakes fist at Kylin’s parents* Anywho. Later that day we were supposed to go to the Children’s Museum with Christian and some other people, but Christian didn’t end up getting home till like 3:20 and because the museum closes at 5, we decided to go on Wed. instead. Once that was decided, Sam and I got ourselves a yummy blizzard from DQ and went over to Udall Park where we laid in the grass and contemplated the meaning of life while making fun of the joggers/runners on the track. Oh yes, good times. After a while, Sam came over for dinner. We watched the two hour episode of The OC (OMG!! What the heck was up with that ending?!?! They ALWAYS hurt the characters I like!! *sniff sniff*) and hung out on my roof for a while. So yeah. That was my senior ditch day. I know I forgot quite a bit of what happened, but you have to give me some credit...I mean it was four days ago!! It’s a miracle I remembered that much!! =P

I also didn’t go to school on Friday. Instead, I spent the day helping my grandma around the house, finishing my mom’s birthday present, and getting ready for prom. I had my hair appt. at 2:45. The lady was really nice and actually did a pretty good job!! =O From there I RAN over to Dillards for my make up appt. at Estée Lauder. Oh man!! The lady that did my make up was SO freakin’ nice!! She did a great job and even gave me lotsa free stuff!! =O After Kylin and I were both done there, we went over to Claire’s and got our jewelry and nail polish (I also got my 2005 garter). From there I went home and finished getting ready. Sam came to my house at 6. We took lots of pictures for about the first fifteen minutes he was there. Kylin got to my house at around 6:15 for even more pictures. At around 6:25 we left my house and headed over to City Grill where we met up with Dominic, Leah, Stephanie, Kyle, Eliza, Carl, Kevin, Lane, Catty, David, annnd...I think that’s it? Dinner was blast!! I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a while!! Sam, Kylin, and I split a pizza...a four slice pizza...=P (we ordered it before finding out what size it was...) It was allllll good though cause I wasn’t hungry...soooo yeah! =P At around 9ish? We all arrived at the UofA ballroom. O-M-G. I do believe that was the BEST school dance I have EVER been to!! AHHH!!! I had so much fun!! I don’t even know where to begin!! =O They played a variety of GREAT songs, I danced with a lot of different people (one person in particular I was quite shocked by, but oh so pleased! =P), everyone looked SO beautiful...the list just goes on and on...main point: FANTABULOUS SENIOR PROM!! =D Afterwards, Sam, Kylin, and I went out. We didn’t party too hardy, but we still had some fun times chillin’ with people. Oh yes, some fun times indeed.

I got home at around 8 Saturday morning and got ready. On the way to school I stopped at Coffee Exchange to refuel and ended up talking to the lady that works there for a while. I got to school at around 9:50 only to find Mr. C was going to be late. ARGH!! I could have slept a little longer!! ARRRR!!! =P Anywho. Once he got there the five of us did a practice AP test. It wasn’t actually all that bad. I think I only got five wrong!! I left at around 11:30 and flew home to get ready. At around 12:15 Kylin came over and we left. Oh man!! KFMA DAY!!! WOOT!! Holy COOOOW!! What an amazing day!! Billy Idol was freakin’ AWESOME!! =D So was Taking Back Sunday and the Format. Unwritten Law was okay...the only thing that kind of bothered me was how they didn’t really play any of their older stuff, only the screamo ones...=\ Buuuut yeah. I think Billy Idol was by far the best band there! Oh man!! I read in the paper today that there was more than 1, 600 people there! =O It was crazy! Soooo many more people than the last time Kylin and I went! Despite all the people, we did manage to find a bunch of Tucson High kids. We hung out mainly with Travis and John though. There was quite a lot of drunk/stoned/really high people there....goooood times! =P I love big concerts like that so much. Not all the time, but every once in a while I think it’s really good to go to one...especially KFMA Day, just because it really shows you that there are some good people out there. I don’t know...it’s like, when I’m out in that HUGE group of people, I’m not fearing my life like I usually would...I actually am feeling safer than I do most of the time...it’s like, the people there, they’ve got your back. You fall down, there are about five hands reaching out to pick you up. If you feel sick or get hurt, there’s always people there to get you out of the crowd. I don’t know...I can’t explain it...it’s just a great feeling, one I’ve missed for quite some time now...=\ After the concert, Kylin and I went over to...*insert drum roll here* COFFEE EXCHANGE!! =O heh...We hung out there for a while and eventually Sam met up with us there. We chilled for a bit, talked to the employees and tried to wake up some. At around 12ish, we all went home. Kylin spent the night at my place which was awesome. It was kinda a shame though since we were both sooooo dead, but it was all good. =P We watched some OC and fell asleep.

As for today...my grandpa left this morning for DC. I have no idea when he’s gonna be back, but I imagine not for a few days which is kinda nice, I guess. My mom apparently came over while Kylin and I were sleeping, but left before we woke up. =( I was all sad cause I spent so long on her Mother’s Day present and now I have to wait yet another day to give it to her...*sniff sniff* At around 11 Kylin left and I began cleaning the house. I’ve done two loads of laundry, cleaned my room, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned my car, and now I’m updating! =O Later I’m going to get my car washed (it got SUPER dusty from the fair grounds...) and study for my AP Music Theory exam tomorrow.

Annnnywho. I should probably get a jump on that...I’ll update more later. I think I’ll even put some pictures up tonight! =D
