Today the stock market was up quite a bit...before the Federal Reserve Chairman said...during midday trading mind you..."that the financial crisis could prolong the difficulty the economy is facing." Are you a fucking idiot? The stock market watches the news to goes with the news. Dont do that during trading. Send out a memo our make a statement after hours. Dont do it DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE TRADING DAY!!! Last week, Harry Reid (a complete idiot) specifically cited "a major insurance company - one with a name that everyone knows - that's on the verge of going bankrupt." Jim Manley, a Reid spokesman, later said Reid is "not personally aware of any particular company being on the verge of bankruptcy" and that "he has no special knowledge about nor has he talked to any insurance company officials. He regrets any confusion his comments may have caused," Manley said, suggesting that Reid's comments on timeliness were meant to apply to the overall financial sector. TOO LATE SENATOR...YOU SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE BILLIONS YOU LOST FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES!!! Two of the biggest insurers, Hartford Financial Group ( HIG) and MetLife (MET) sank after the remarks, perhaps in part because Reid had referred to an insurer that was a well-known name. Both companies issued statements denying that they were the unnamed company referred to in Reid's remarks. Hartford took the biggest stock price hit, dropping nearly 20% from its Tuesday close of $40.99 to trade recently at $33.40. THat idiot ran his mouth to intentionally sink stock market companies to make the economy worse. Clearly the democrats plan to let the economy get as shitty as possible before the election. Pelosi daily puts the economy and America down and the stock market reacts to that! SENATORS...PUT THE BULLSHIT ASIDE...SHUT YOUR MOUTHS...BE POSITIVE ABOUT THIS GREAT NATION...IM OUT!!!
