Well its been quite awhile since I've posted, but I've not had much to say-complaining is not really my style and bitching about all the negatives in my life, won't help none, so I've decided to focus on the positives.
To wit:
Those of you who know me know that I carry a sword (usually a katana) within Circle and that I am insistent that the blade I carry be battle ready & made of carbon steel-not just a decorative "wall hanger" made of stainless steel or even lesser metal.
I now own a Paul Chen Practical Katana-this blade is rated as one of the finest production blades available and certified for dojo and other heavy duty cutting uses. This blade sings when unsheathed and is so balanced that when swung in the standard cutting modes the blade feels almost feathery light with the weight bearing (as it should) towards the cutting edge and the tip.
Man am I stoked!
Especially as I paid less than a third of its full value!
Yeah!
