I felt like writing drabbles... when I started these I didn't intend for there to be a particular order but there turned out to be one. Because I'm nice, and because
starry_nights88 said I should, I put them in order? Don't you love me for that? If so, show me love! (a.k.a. Comment!)

Prompt: And that's when I stopped believing in gravity
Words: 242
I had never really given much thought to gravity. It was something that was just there, y’know? I know, I know, they teach the whole Issac Newton bit in school where the apple fell from the tree and hit him in the head and bam! Gravity.
But it had always been there. I think it would be stranger to not have gravity. Why am I thinking about gravity?
Apples.
A whine left my throat as I stared up at the tree. For once the limbs were too high for me to reach in my wolf form, even if I jumped. Shame too, those apples looked damn good… Hm, maybe if I ran and hit the tree I could knock a few down…
Backing up a good distance I started to run at the tree… and promptly stumbled and fell. Now, I didn’t trip on a hidden root or anything of that nature, no. I was blinded. Or at least distracted. Something sparkling had caught my attention. Some hunter must have left a glass bottle in the woods and the sun hit it just right…
Standing I shook out my fur and turned to see if that’s what it was. That’s when I saw him. That’s when I smelled him… the Cullen who could play with emotions…
That’s when I stopped believing in gravity as it had been taught to me. None of that mattered anymore. Only he mattered. He was my gravity.

No. No, no, no, no! This can’t be happening… this cannot be happening!
I felt the wolf’s panic before anything else. It confused me. None of the wolves were scared of us. In fact, I’m surprised that it hasn’t tried to attack me yet. I didn’t know this wolf.
He was a sort of sandy color, though his face was decorated with more colors. And tall, though not as tall as the alpha or Jacob. He also seemed frozen, staring at me with those wide brown eyes. For the first time in my 163 years I wished I had Edward’s gift just to know what this wolf was thinking.
I stepped closer and the wolf took a step back whining softly. “Come now little wolf, I won’t bite.” I had to force myself not to grin at the pun as I held my hand out. Admittedly, I do not trust the wolves but I find them to be a curious set of creatures.
He continued to stare at me. His emotions were jumbled. Elation, fear, hope, longing… I couldn’t understand the mixture. Taking a slow step forward I was surprised when he stayed put. His tail wagged once before lowering, almost to the point that it was between his legs.
I knew I shouldn’t touch him; even reaching out this close was dangerous. He could easily snap and bite my hand off. But for some reason I wasn’t worried. I somehow knew this wolf would not hurt me. My hand brushed against the side of his muzzle and he gave a soft sigh, his eyes closing.
Innocent pleasure and happiness overtook my senses. Again I had to fight a smile. The wolf’s fur was very soft…
Suddenly his eyes snapped open and he stepped away. He almost looked like he was shaking his head. It confused me, his fear had returned. What had I done?
No! No, no, no… I have to resist the temptation…
I wanted to stop him; I knew he was going to run. But something stopped me. I don’t know what it was, I don’t understand it. There was just something about this wolf. I didn’t want him to leave.

Prompt: Unexpected emptiness
Words: 237
Seth sighed softly as he sat in the rocking chair next to Luka’s crib. Their young son slept peacefully in his crib and for that Seth was grateful. He loved Luka more than life itself but he was tired… Jasper had been on a hunting trip for the past three days leaving him to care for Luka on his own. He hadn’t realized how much he enjoyed getting a full night’s sleep because Jasper got up with Luka during the night.
A frown graced his lips as he rocked. Seth rested a hand on his now flat stomach. Only weeks ago it had still be round with Luka inside. Now… it was flat… and empty. He had never thought about how empty he would feel after Luka was born. Seth hadn’t loved being pregnant, but he hadn’t completely hated it either. It had been filling though, feeling a new life growing inside him…
“Seth, I’m home,” Jasper called as he came through the front door of their apartment.
“Here,” Seth said quietly knowing Jasper would hear him. Moments later Jasper appeared in the doorway smiling, though it faded when he sensed Seth’s confusion.
“What’s wrong baby?” He questioned coming to kneel by Seth. He glanced at Seth’s hand on his stomach. “Is something wrong with your stomach? Should I call Carlisle?”
Seth shook his head. “I’m fine. I just…”
“Just what?”
“I just didn’t expect this emptiness.”

Prompt: They're only sleeping
Words: 218
Seth’s heart hammered in his chest.
3 hours and it still hadn’t calmed down. He swallowed hard as he stared down at his twin daughters, Aylen and Kaya. Their sweet little faces held no sign of the trauma they had experienced just hours earlier.
Seth stiffened when he heard footsteps come up behind him. He knew from the smell that it was Jasper but he couldn’t make himself relax until Jasper’s arms wrapped around him and Jasper’s chin was resting on his shoulder. He could feel his lover, imprint and husband try to sooth his frayed nerves but it didn’t help much, he was just to worked up.
“They’re only sleeping baby,” Jasper murmured.
“I know but if we had gotten there just a moment or two later-”
“But we didn’t.”
“But if we had! Jazz, they could be dead instead of sleeping…” Seth breathed a shuddering sigh as he pressed the palm of his hand to one of his eyes to keep his tears at bay.
Jasper didn’t reply because he knew Seth’s words were true. If they had been just a few seconds later… no, he wouldn’t think of it. Their infant daughters were only sleeping; their steady heartbeats assured him of that. Jasper did the only thing he could; he tightened his arms around Seth.

Prompt: A four leaf clover
Words: 307
Luka laid in the green, green grass his gold eyes staring intently at the blades of grass and patches of clover. His fingers brushed over the delicate plants as he searched. He had been out here, slowly crawling through the yard on his stomach for the past two hours. His stupid sisters had wanted him to come play barbies with them but he refused. He had a present to find.
“Aha!” Luka exclaimed excitedly. He picked the steam of the plant he had been searching for and jumped to his feet. Running inside he left the door standing wide open in his haste to get to his daddy. “Daddy!”
“Luka, the door,” Seth said as he dried his hands.
Luka glanced back at the door that still stood wide open but shrugged and looked back at Seth. “Look!”
Seth sighed and gingerly kneeled down to see what his eldest had brought inside. In another month he wouldn’t be able to do this; it would be too hard to stand again with a huge stomach, at least without help. “What do you have there?”
“I found a present for the baby,” Luka explained holding the four leaf clover up for Seth to see.
“You found a four leaf clover!” Seth said with a grin. “Those are really rare.”
“Mhm, and posed to be good luck right? Papa said they were.”
Seth nodded. “That’s what I’ve always heard. I’ve also heard they will grant wishes.”
Luka’s golden eyes widened. “Really?!”
“Doesn’t hurt to try,” Seth told him. “Close your eyes and make a wish.”
Luka closed his eyes and thought really hard. Seth watched his son’s expression with amusement. He was trying so hard. Seth leaned forward and kissed Luka’s forehead. Luka had his eyes open when he pulled back.
“What did you wish for?”
“A brother!”
Seth laughed.

Prompt: I never thought…
Words: 356
There are many places in my life that I never thought I would be.
A vampire for one. I didn’t even believe in such things before meeting Maria and her sisters.
Imprinted on by a shifter named Seth Clearwater for another. That day in the woods had changed me. I had only thought I had become more curious about the shifters but then Alice and eventually the rest of the family mentioned the changes I had gone through. I stayed on the roof for hours just waiting to hear the wolves howl. Somehow I just knew I would be able to tell his voice from the rest. It took weeks for me to learn exactly what had happened in the woods that day. Even then… imprinting was a mystery to me.
Being married to Seth came next. I had always thought my future lay with Alice. Then the imprint had happened. Not that we are together only because of that. Seth offered me friendship at first, needing something from me, for complete rejection would mean his death and he was afraid to offer anything further. We had become friends over the course of the year it being both enough and at the same time not enough. Eventually it had only become not enough. Three years after the imprint I found myself married to Seth. And I have never been more sure of anything in my life.
Presently I find myself sitting on the roof of our house watching Seth and our children. Yes, we have children. Three right now, though it will soon be four. Luka who is six, Aylen and Kaya, twin girls, who are three and an unborn child that is currently growing inside Seth. It’s amazing… the fact that Seth can bare children. I never thought I would get to experience the joy of having a child… but Seth has given that to me… that and so much more.
“Papa!”
I looked down and gave Aylen a smile as she waved at me.
“Come down papa!” Luka called. I couldn’t resist him; I couldn’t resist any of them. Unsurprisingly… I didn’t want to.
