An old drabble series, from my days in pokemondrabbles
Hopefully one day I'll write more.

Series: Kanto
Rating: R
Word Count: 294
Summary: She loved him more than anything else, she wanted him more than anyone one else and yet there was no way she should ever have him.

Sinful was not a strong enough adjective in Delia’s opinion for the feelings that coursed through her. They were too intense, too forbidden to be anything more than that. She ran her long fingers through her hair and curled up in a tight ball, her eyes shut away from his face but his image was already burned in her mind. And her mind decided to play with this image, expand it make it grow…

He ran towards her, in her mind’s eye, and embraced her with both arms. He pressed his face into her bosom and chatted animatedly of how much he loved her, how much she meant to him, how he never wanted him to leave him ever, never, ever, okay?

‘Of course’ she replied, ‘Okay’ she laughed. She pulled him into her arms and pressed him closer to her body. She ghosted her lips over his forehead, his cheeks; she felt the soft baby down of his dark hair and sighed. Her lips hovered over his for a moment before she descended and took them into her own. No part of his face was to be left untouched by her. She felt a burning inside of her to go farther, to unwrap him from his soft, worn clothes. Her fingers tugged at the buttons of the little jumpsuit he wore. She glanced up to meet his gaze, to silently ask for consent.

She met with eyes identical to hers.

Delia gasped and quickly sat up. “Mom, are you okay?” came a voice from the kitchen. Like an unwanted specter, he came rushing to her side and held her hands in his smaller ones. She forced a smile to spread across her face, to hide her shame. “It was just a dream sweetie.”

Title: Follow the Leader
Series: pre-Kanto
Rating: K
Word Count: 313....I couldn't edit anymore without losing everything...
Summary: Who really gets to decide to be the leader: the one who came up with the game or the oldest kid?

"Okay we're going to play Follow the Leader. I'll be the Leader of course." Gary said as he pointed to himself.
"But that's no fair!" 'Yeah you're always the leader!" complained his two friends. Gary crossed his arms and shook his head. "I'm the tallest so I get to be the leader."

One of his friends stepped forward. "But I'm older than you, so I should be the leader!" At that moment, Ash was running towards the little group. He was the oldest of boys but also the shortest. Slung across his shoulder was a green backpack. "Hey guys!" he yelled. The other boys stopped arguing and circled Ash.
"What's up?" he asked.

"They don't think I should be the leader, even though it was my idea to play the game." Gary said as he held his head high. "I'm the leader, right?"

Ash shrugged off his backpack and shifted through the few belongs he had inside until he found a mechanical pencil. From that he pulled out four pieces of lead and held them in his grip. "My teacher said this is the fairest way to decide anything. Whoever gets the longest piece is the leader!"

Gary wasn't sure he liked the idea. He was the one with the game plan, so it was fair that he became the leader! But he picked one of the pieces anyway. His lead seemed pretty long and he was glad to see that it really was longer than what's-his-name and the other kid.
He chuckled and stepped forward. "Looks like I'm the leader again. Thanks Ash." He showed off his piece and tried not to laugh again at the silly faces of the other three boys.

"Yeah, thanks Ash."
"Great idea, Ash."
The other two grumbled and nudged Ash as they ran to catch up with Gary.
"...Last time I ever listen to a teacher..." Ash pouted.

Title: Up and Away in Hot Air Balloon
Series: N/A
Pairing(s): Gary/Ash
Rating: G
Word Count: 241
Summary: "How could I forget about you? You're the whole reason I'm in this thing!"

Riding in a hot air balloon didn't look all that bad when the Rocket Organization did it or whenever a whole fleet of them were featured on TV but actually being in one, feeling the wind rush past his face and blowing his hair in all directions was a whole other experience all together. It was exhilarating.

"Hey!!" he yelled to the crowd below. He lean over the basket, staring at his friends as he and his hot air balloon travelled farther and farther away. He yelled again, this time just for the feeling of using his voice in such an unorthodox manner, just because he finally could.

Up here, he didn’t have to be an acceptable young man, a proper gentleman, a knowledgeable merchant’s son. No, up here he was just Gary Oak. Just Gary sounded great to him.

He saw a pair of arms waving back at him. It was dirty young boy, with short dark hair and a Pikachu on his shoulder.

"Don't forget about me!" Ash roared, his voice rushing to meet with Gary.
"That's impossible!" Gary yelled back. He stretched his arms out to him.
"Get over here!" Ash ran as fast as he could the basket as it lifted higher and higher off the ground. He grabbed Gary's arms and pulled himself into the basket.
"I thought you would never come..." Gary pressed his lips against Ash's cheek, nuzzled his face into his messy hair.

Title: Until Yesterday
Series: uh....Latin America in the 1500s? Dx
Rating: G
Word Count: 223
Summary: Castas can mingle with one another, but it's not encouraged

He was always watching him from afar, too afraid to approach the other boy. After all that boy was a member of nobility, a boy of true Spanish blood while he was just...un nino de mestizo y india...barely human, just a mix of so many other castas that should have never merged together. It was just him and his mother, living on the brink of society and the card they were dealt.

That boy has brown hair, green eyes, pale skin...he was practically royalty walking around filth like him. He was dark skinned, black hair, brown eyes...he could pass as mulatto or maybe mestizo but that was only if one did not look too closely at his face.

He was that boy's servant for as long as he could remember. The boy showed no compassion, no love. In fact the boy made it obvious that he preferred any other slave to him. He wanted to prove to the boy that he was the best slave he ever had and ever will have. He worked harder than the others, did all of his tasks as best as he could. He hated the Spaniard but he wanted the praise, the glory.

He knew he was nothing to the boy, but he thought he was at least worth something. Maybe that was asking for too much...

Title: Toilet Paper
Series: anime, post-Hoenn
Rating: PG
Word Count: 368 (it was shorter before the editing)
Summary: A small incident that occured while Ash and May were on their "date".

Ash leaned against the wall connected to the ladies bathroom. He was waiting for May, who promised she was only checking in to touch up her powder. That had to be at least 10 minutes ago. According to May, they were on a date to watch a movie, but to Ash it just felt like a friend's night out. He shifted position as he heard the door open. It had to be May this time, right?

Instead of a petite girl, a tall young woman strolled out of the restroom. Her red hair was cut in a short hair style he knew May would rave about, although Ash didn't think much of a hair cut named Bob. Ash couldn't look away from her as she turned the corner, her hips swaying back and forth with each step she took but something stopped him. Attached to the girl's shoe was a long trail of toilet paper.

"Hey miss!" he called out. A few women turned to face him, but the girl kept walking. He couldn't just leave her to walk around with toilet paper on her shoe! Ash abandoned his post and walked after her. He tried to tap her shoulder when he was close enough but he kept missing. He decided to settle for the next best thing.

It always got his mother's attention.

Ash reached out for the girl's skirt and tugged. A loud ripping sound echoed through the area followed by an ever louder silence. The girl slowly turned to face the boy, her entire face contorted with fury. Ash cowered beneath her gaze, her torn skirt clutched in his hands.

"Just who do you think you are you little pervert!" she screamed as her hand slapped him clean across the face. She snatched her skirt from his grip and stormed back to the bathrooms.

"See if I ever help you again!" Ash yelled back. She didn't hear him. He grumbled to himself and rubbed the sore spot on his face. Stupid girls who were too stupid to notice a stupid piece of toilet paper behind them....He was going to wait right here for May. There was no way he was going back to those restrooms.

Title: Just a Game
Series: anime, pre-Kanto
Pairing(s): Ash/Gary friendship
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 352
Summary: It was only supposed to be a quick game of hide and seek...

It wasn't supposed to be this way. It was supposed to be just a game, a simple one of hide and seek.

"Go hide over there" he told the younger boy, "I'll come and find you." The little boy looked scared, more scared than he had ever seen him before. "There's somebody over there..." said the boy, his tiny body trembling. "He's watching us..." He punched the boy's shoulder, just like he saw in the cartoons. "Don't be a baby," he scoffed, "just go hide over there and I'll find you."
"Promise?"
"Yeah, sure, just go!"

It was a promise he intended to break.

He ran off while the boy hid. He laughed as he thought of how mad the little boy would look after he came running home. "You liar!" the boy would cry and he would just laugh. It was just a game. Gary was only a few steps away when he heard the scream. It was short and only lasted for a moment, but it still stopped him in his tracks.

"Ash?" the wind carried his voice. There wasn't a response.
Gary tip-toed closer to the boy's hiding spot. Did he figure it out? Was the boy trying to trick him?
No, he wouldn't do that. He was too little to think like that.
"Ash?" he called out again, his voice wavering. Why wasn't he saying anything? What was going on?

A man held the little boy close to him, his large hand over his mouth. Ash's eyes were wide with fear, darting in every direction until they settled on someone familiar. He screamed as loud as he could through the hand, trying hard to wiggle out of the man's grip. Gary ran towards the man. He was going to rescue Ash and get the police and get them back home and...and...and...
Somebody grabbed him from behind. He yelled and punched and kicked but the man put a funny smelling cloth over his mouth.
Gary felt his body grow heavier and heavier. The last thing he remembered was the look on Ash's face.

Even now he can't forget it.
