Hockey is Back... Back Again
Mmm, smell that? Smells like hockey season.
I must say that few things can compare to a beautiful fall evening, a cup of caramel ice cream, some form of alcohol and a hockey game. This is the life, yes? I must say that I was rather impressed with the Caps' season opener. Other than the fact that they got the freakin' W and made it look easy, they actually managed to maintain focus along the way. *Gasp* Sometimes I think the Caps are the most ADD squad in the NHL, but last night they looked professional and out for the win. Ovechkin was... Ovechkin-esque. Brooks Laich was fabulous... Theodore inspired some confidence and Backstrom continues to dazzle me with his sick passing. All-in-all I'd call it a good game. Proud of ya boys!
