Green Italian bike in the shop

Apr 13, 2006 23:29

Okay so the bike has ben identified by one of the bike techs at Bicycle Habitat on layette street as being a 70's low end mid range frame in Italian green French Huret parts and built by whoever they had on hand at the factory and then they slapped a brand name on it which means brand name means nothing.

The bike tech called it amusing.
They were a little intrigued with it more as a curiosity than anything really good.

In any case as you can see the handle bars dont match the bike and they were able to pull up a used handlebars of the right type with brake levers and are cutting me a deal on them, the stem is the most expensive part as its not used.

So its not the best but ya know I dont really care if it gets stolen or not and it gets me where I want to go.

Evil wrong handles
