back to school, back to school, to prove to mom that im not a fool...
So today is my first day of class. The last time i was thrown into a racially/religiously diverse moshpot of american/quasiamerican folk was during 8th grade. My social skills kinda sucked then, or as i like to think of it, 90% of the other students spoke a different language than me: usually wanting to talk about pot and boobies 90% of the time, whereas my quasi-amish self only wanted to discuss boobies about 10% of the time and was basically always turned off to the idea of any kind of illegal drug usage. Fortunately, college seems as though it will be a whole different ballgame. Now that the majority of highschoolers have moved up to topics bigger than boobies (yes...i made a funny) all i have to worry about are a whole lot of colliding opinions (and probably only in a few classes). Colliding opinions i can handle though. Anyhow...I leave in one hour. Wish me luck.
