So, yesterday I get a call from siestrion with the news I have been waiting a while for. The Power That Be on the East Coast want his contact information to send him the contract for our NERO chapter. You cannot imagine how excited I am that we are close to making this happen after all this time and work.
In theory, it should be in the mail sometime today. At this point, as near as I can tell, we are go for take off!! So the big question is when do we start? Well, we have a few outstanding factors to take in to consideration, but I believe we can have ou first event around the start of summer, probably.
So, the next big question, for those interested in being involved, is what can you do to help? We are going to need a great many things to run this chapter well, and we are prepared to reward players well with gobbie points for their donations and contributions. I believe have put out lists like this in the past, and I am doing it again. Note: if you wish to contibute something we only need one of check with us first to make sure no one beat you to the punch.

airbrusher and compressor (I can dream)
boffer weapons and/or supplies for making them
spell packets in a variety of colors
armor or armor supplies
tabards and tunics
a variety of costumin bits
make up
prostethic beards
duct tape (silver and varied colors)
multi-drawered storage thingees for tags (talk to me directly about this one, I am picky)
Check back on this list, it may get modified.
Also, those who are artistically inclined speak to me, we have use of your talnets. We will need some art and I definitely need the help of someone with graphic design skillz.
Lastly, we need players! Let's start getting characters set in. And go forth and recruit like mad. We will reward people for recruiting.
