concert was....nice...no, not bad
I liked the bands and loved getting the chance to hear Jimmy Eat World live. But I could not even recognize, at first, the songs they were playing because of the ear plugs I had. If I had taken them out, I would be deaf now. I was right by the speakers. I could feel the hair on my hair move from the force of the bass. I really didn't get to see the show because I had to make sure only VIPs got to the front, close to the stage. Working security was tiring and annoying. I decided at the beginning I was going to need a stiff drink afterward. I am having a beer and going to bed soon. So much for the stiff drink. I have never seen so much jail bait on Tulane's campus before. There was at least ten under aged girls trying to trade my shirt for theirs. Like hell I would give up this shirt. It is the concert shirt with the names of the bands on front and "Security" written boldly across the back. Very nice... But I am glad to be done with it because now I have to write an essay on Aristotle.
I have been doing well this week in getting away from things that are not health for me. I have not had much to drink, which will continue for awhile till I get my life settled down. I am not seeing/sleeping with Jess. I think I should continue on this trend of getting rid the unhealthy aspects of my life.
