As those of you that came with me to Facebook may already know, I've been spamming my friends a lot. I've spammed my friends a lot over the years, mainly for gig A or album B, generally for my own self-aggrandisement.
This time I'm trying to spam you all for completely altruistic reasons.
On April 26th, 2009, yours truly is running the Flora London Marathon. That's right, the big M, 26.1 miles of pain. I'm doing this for the wonderful people at Diabetes UK, the UK's top charity for research into and care of Diabetes.
I know that a lot of you may have friends doing the Marathon, or similar event, and I hate to get out the begging bowl, but if I can spam you to come to a tinpot shed to watch a band with 10 other people, or to buy an album you've doubtless already downloaded, I can certainly spam you for this.
I don't want all your money, just some of it!
