Another weekend passes
I feel very stupid. Somehow I managed to back my Explorer into the water truck on Saturday night as I was leaving work. The good news is that I did not scratch the water truck at all. The bad news is that the tailgate on my SUV has a big dent in it and the rear window shattered. I will need to replace the whole tailgate. My only excuse is that I was looking at a truck parked at the BMX track that was not supposed to be there and had just turned on its’ headlights as I was backing up. Either that or the water truck was hiding behind my truck in plan view. I might also be losing my mind. I made a sandwich a couple of days ago and put the cheese in the freezer, the bread in the refrigerator, and the lunchmeat in the breadbox. At least I only ruined the lunchmeat. Good thing I’m going to be working a bunch of OT this month. Probably 50+ hours of OT when all is said and done. I don’t know what that will do for my sanity. So, if I seem a little less sane then normal please bear with me I have a vacation scheduled and July and should be sane till the end of August or so.
Talking about that if anyone that reads this would like to watch crazy people on and off motorcycles feel free to contact me and schedule a ride along. I would love to have the company. The Hangtown MX race is on Sat. May 15th and Sun. May 16th. It should be very busy and if I’m going to have a ride along I need to make sure I’m not on ATV patrol.
Well I need to jump in the shower and get ready for work.
