I got paid to go on a late night moon light hike!!! The catch is it was to find some people that had started a fire in a remote area of the park. The report was a 6 foot bonfire. It turned out to be some collage aged kids with a small camp fire. I had them through the big pieces in the lake, cover the rest in sand, and escorted them out of the park. It always seems like these contacts happen at the end of my shift. Not a problem except the battery on my radio tends to die when I'm about a 2 mile walk from my vehicle.

Still I got paid to go hiking on one hell of a nice night!!! Sometimes I can not believe they pay me :)
