Lots to update about. It's been a while.
I've lived in NJ about 4 months now, I've only been working at this location 3 of them (nice month vacation in there). Now it's time to go. I'm moving to NYC, baby.
It's all due to Nancy landing her internship with one of NY's fast paced fashion companies. It was a little unexpected, but we decided to make the move closer to the city, where we can live the life that is sure to be completely opposite of what we have in this quiet neighborhood. We decided this a few short weeks ago, but were a little confused about what to do about the house we just bought in the summer. I knew it wasn't the best time to buy then, and now it's the worst time to sell. The plan soon became to rent the house. I was actually sort of excited, but certainly in need of help, I had a lot of questions. Of course I had concerns about how renters treat houses, too.
Today I don't need that help. I met a realtor while letting my dog outside. He was visiting a property he just purchased on my street and explained that he was in the process of obtaining a few of them, and offered me a nice amount more for our house than what we just bought it for. That's good news and great timing all in one!
So I'm excited, things seem to be working out pretty well this month! Maybe I'll even be able to take just enough time off to see the new years celebration in times square.
