Saturday June 12th, 2004: Me, Jerry, Jerrys friend Mark (Mizzark), and Jerrys fiance Amber w/lil' John go to a place here in Springfield called Incredible Pizza. I proceed to WHOOP Jerry and Mark in NASKART racing (Go-Karts shaped like NASCAR cars) 3 TIMES! It was GREAT....especially after all the bragging Jerry did about how me and Mark were gonna see his backside the whole time. Yea, I saw Jers backside, because I was about to LAP HIM! As for Mark, he just...well...raced. It was fun. The pizza wasnt too bad either. After that was done, we were still bored, and Ambers family ended up meeting us there. So we then decided to head to the bowling alley and do a little bowling. Now, I havent bowled since I was about 4 so you can imagine what I felt like picking up a bowling ball after so long. I cant say I did good, nor can I say I did bad. I had fun though.
Sunday June 13th, 2004: Its time, Its time, its wedding time! Jerry and Amber got married, although the preacher was looking a little ancient, kept forgetting what he was saying, made Amber say "I Do" twice, and the whole talking thing lasted a boring 30 minutes, and this was all done at her parents house, so in my own personal opinion, if this was done at a church with a possible younger preacher, we would have been done within 10 minutes and on to the reception. But oh well, its the thought and occasion that counts and at least they are officially married now, so LET THE NAGGING BEGIN! I'll be sure to post a picture soon featuring me, Amber, Jerry and Mark.
Monday June 14th, 2004: I decide to dedicate my time in helping Jerry and Amber move out of their apartment and into their new $50,000 home across town. This goes over the course of 3 days...so I shall skip tuesday and jump to present day of this writing, wednesday.
Wednesday June 16th, 2004: Well, the moving is officialy over for the new Rinehart Family. Painting is kinda done, but I'll let the "happy" couple decide between themselves on that one. To note on tuesday, the U-Haul, and it was the BIG U-Haul truck, decided to break down in mid-day with the sun shining down on myself and Jerry, and we were stranded for a good 3 hours till the U-Haul idiots finally decided that it would be cool to send out a mechanic afterAmber ripped them a new one over the phone. Even after the mechanic got there, like something out of the pages of STUPIDVILLE, USA he tells us he has to go back to the shop and get his tools which will take another 30 MINUTES! At this point, me and Jerry and Amber are beyond pissed off. Anyway, it eventually gets fixed and we are able to move everything in by NIGHTFALL. Anyway, back to today....as they were at work and I was at their house, I did what I could to help out, unpacking stuff and arranging everything for them so when they got home everything would be cool. And yes, when they got home, all was cool. What sucked was the impending doom that was a severe thunderstorm rolled in while they left briefly to drop off some garbage and get back to their apartment for some more things. I was stuck watching their 3 year old, John. It went quite well actually, as he seemed pretty used to the typical missouri storms. Good kid.
Thats pretty much it in a nut shell. Inbetween some of it all, I did several attempts to catch an interview at a bar called Twilight Inn. I went there monday at 4PM, they tell me he wont be there till 5, after he had told me over the phone to be there at 4. I come back at 5 and he calls to tell them he will be there tomorrow, so I say ok and come back the next day, same result, same deal. Today just did not motivate me at all to try for an interview. I will try MAYBE thursday, but if he isnt there, then SCREW IT.
Ok, im hot, im tired, so Im ending this.....now. Later ya'll.
