DAVIS TRIP!!!
OK so like...Justin me Menglu and Mel went to davis on fri and saturday...super long update...ready? GO!
ok so like fri..it was noon..and justin and i had no clue when melodys mom was coming..(my cell phone was on the car meh) so we were like..SUBway? ok! oh wait ..enough time? AHHH we dont no..so we went back 2 justins house and ate chicken soup...joys..100% sodium right there >.<
At 12:30 mels mom came 2 pick us up and we went 2 the centerville station for the train. it was funny cuz melodys mom suddenly disappeared..and we couldnt figure out how 2 get in...eventually we did..got our ticket..and den the train came. For some strange reason..the train went backwards..so it was butt in the front all the way...*question mark*
In the train..we got bored..so justin and i watched fummooffuu!!!!! <3 listened 2 our own respected music..oh..the prices on the train are scary...2 dollars for cup noodles? 3.5 for 2 double A batteries? gosh...
Ok we got to davis..melody's sister Elaine came 2 "pick" us up..and den we walked 30 min to get 2 her apartment..it was cross campus *tear*..my poor legs...and shoulder!
At the apartment we met elaine's bf andy and we fooled around while they cooked. there was this really nice...urm..wats tat called again..something with a roof over u heard tats dome like with chairs underneath...anyway we hanged around there for a bit...even the chairs were locked down...lol. justin seemed especially tired cuz he sat on the edge and almost fell back..and there was this painful looking object on the ground on the other side...and he couldnt pull himself up! or so we thought
DINNER! omg we have some awesome hosts =D delicious food. we seriously need to learn how 2 cook..or else id be eating cup noodles in college xD. anyway i ate a lot..like i always do hehehe.
OK DEN IT WAS 2 THE ARC!!! OMG SOO COOOOOOL!!!!!!!!! we snuck in with some passes of the other Davis people. inside..there was a weight room, many basketball courts, vball court, badminton court, rock climbing, racquet ball rooms, machines all over the place, mats, martial arts room, and OMGGGGGG A INDOOR TRACK ON THE 2ND FLOOR! HOLY SNAP tat was awesome. it kinda became our favorite place 2 go..*runs*...7.6 laps for a mile was it? it was pretty awesome. ran like 2-3 miles on tat thing..cuz like ya !! awesome. justin and i lapped menglu =) mel ran one lap. ok im like going out of order. lalala...in the weight room ...=D w00t! fun fun fun... ok plenty of machines i never saw b4..i worked out anyway...treadmill for another mile on 3.5 incline..ouch =( urm..random machines..bench press..ok this was absoutely sad...i tried 135 lbs and i only got 2 5 reps..haha...den there was justin who did like..3 reps at the bar (45 lbs) oh well...menglu chickened out =PPPP jk! hm..oh ya i threw a medicine ball 12 lbs at justin and he freaked out. we wandered around the place a lot..ok den i went 2 play badminton! at the badminton place..we saw ping pong tables...justin and i went *tear* omg miss! but we had no equipment so we lose. i got 2 play badminton with elaine and ..urm..we got our butt whooped? den i played with melody and got my butt slaughtered even more. i got part of badminton back..well..there went my tennis but wth..i have a bloody blister 2 prove i played badminton. at least it doesnt hurt anymore..ok so i gave up eventually and i was soo sore i couldnt walk for a bit..den we went 2 run another lap where i nearly died..back 2 the apartment we go! oh wait..not yet! we met andy's buddies and they seemed like a cool bunch of people. they went 2 dennnies but we didnt cuz..ya..everyone smelled prretty darn bad..
at the aparment justin and i washed the dishes. menglu and mel cleaned the table and such...i think..while elaine took a shower...30 min later...melody went 2 shower..30 min later...menglu went 2 shower...30 min later... <----- longgggggggggg wait gosh, 30x3 PSH!!! ..so it was like 1 b4 the guys could shower. took me 5 min =D and justin like 8 min. den we all ate icecream..haha...at 1 am...sad...elaine has like the most awesome collection of manga..i caught up on once piece =D 406! hehehe. ok sleep!
horribly sleep..i turned so many times..couldnt decide whether to sleep on my stomach side or back..eventually i put on my ear phone and just fell asleep..
justins alarm rang at 8..got up...cleaned up and got ready. walked around the shopping place..at like 8:45-9 ish..got back..the girls didnt wake up till 9:30 ish..justin was fiddling on his psp..ok. the girls woke up and we talked for a bit..ate a snack..cuz..did i mention mel has a scary appitite?? she said im hungry so many times..it was a bit scary..Lunch at subways..justin and i got 1 footerss..while menglu and mel had half each. justin and i finished our 1 foot at the same time the girls finished their halfs =D. we rock! ok..went 2 davis..some agricultural place..and got free plants! yes free plants..i got 2 tomatoes, pepper plant, and a dead looking grape plant..(i still havent planted them yet..meh). we got 2 watch wine barrels being produced and justin and i forfeited to the vending machine. sprite yum..ok after our hands were full we had 2 go back 2 the aparment 2 put it down..i was soo tired..we decidied 2 just chill there. we played cards...it was kinda funny. justin and i started with egyptian war..he gave up after 1 min when he barely had any cards left..(i got the first 8 some slaps and won all the cards basically). den melody came in and we played big 2 where i lost horribly each time..den karma where i won horribly =D and den egyptain war with us 4..sigh...1 min into the game justin and menglu were both out..and den mel and i duked it out...i started losing horribly..den i came back...den i started losing horribly...almost recovered..30 min + later...gah mel won...i didnt notice the jack sandwiches =( jack queen jack..*stares blankly* ok so i lost 2 jacks in tat one slap..and tat was the end of me.
justin and i went a vending machine and wandered wat the heck the vault drink was..it turned out 2 be a sprite like energy drink. scary..78 grams of sugar in a 16 oz can..o.0...
den we headed off 2 pinic day..we missed the dog races =( oh well i dont think i could have made it anyway. we ended up getting lost. first time menglu was like..oh! pinic day sign..tat way! *walks away from campus..* on the phone melody was trying 2 get instructions from her sis and like..she was like..i see greenhouses..i see a couch <--- hahaha, i see a sigh tat says manure..great instructions right? anyway elaine had no clue where we r so we had 2 backtrack..made it 2 the arc, pavilion..and started walking..den melody said turn right..cuz her sis said 2 ..except her sis was probably think of the other way around..so once again..we walked off the campus XD we figured we were going the wrong way when the sidewalk ended..haha. *backtrack!* OK WE FINALLY FOUND OUR WAY...BATTLE OF THE BANDS..when we first got there it was a little retarded..the same theme for 30 min..so we left 2 dinner.
crepeville! not bad..i got seafood pasta and mels mom and dad with her auntie + her husband came. mel's mom didnt like the muscles so..i got 2 eat 10 of them...yum =D. finished tat..tried some of chicken curry crepe and pesto crepe..pretty good..i guess..different at least. den dessert! justin and i shared a banana crepe..OMG soo goood!! we done good...i mean well XD ok so we walked all the way back 2 the apartment cuz we were bloated and might as well try 2 digest on the way back.
back at the apartment..ok nvm back 2 the battle of bands. we watched the battle of bands..when we got there..there were like 6-7 bands left. it was really cool cuz..well first the bands had 2 memorize like hundreds of songs 2 play for TAT many hours..2-11...holy crap! ok so once the bands played their fight songs it meant they were out of songs. so the bands starting disappearing one by one..den it started raining..joys =/...ok and eventually it came down 2 stanford and davis. its law for davis 2 win..but STANFORD WOUDLNT GIVE UP..ok so they played till like 11:15 when stanford finally gave up. they had like a 15 min fight song tat repeated like crazy..it was catchy..but SUPER ANNOYING..den davis played their victory song and fight song and it was over! on the way back i found out the jacket i lent justin and a random pin in it..and it punctured him..melody tried 2 get it out all the way back..and den apartment elaine tried 2..and den i think their mom tried 2..failure! meh..howd it get there in the first place. i took a shower and we headed home.
On the way back i sat in the back with menglu. suddenly the back door window thingy of mels car opened...hella scary..i practically stood up and hanged partly out the window 2 pull the thing back in...scary..we had 2 stop cuz of tat..den it was even more scary cuz we were on the high way when suddenly the lights turned on..mel's mom's door was not tightly closed and they had 2 OPEN IT on the highway and RECLOSE it..HOLY CRAP...scared the freakin heck out of me..near stoneridge i blanked out and didnt come back till we were in fremont.
