RIP Gary Moore
One of my favourite guitarists just died.
Gary Moore, Irish guitarist formerly of Skid Row and Thin Lizzy... but his solo electric blues work has always been my favourite. I've been listening Gary's BLUES ALIVE disk since I was a teenager and I know every note of it.
For my money, Gary Moore had the bluest tone and the cleanest fingers of any guitarist living. I wish I could have seen him play.
