Posting from the library in Oban on the west coast of Scotland. Yes, it's the place where they make the whiskey. Unfortunatly, the Distillery doesn't do tours in December and January, otherwise I'd totally be there.
The match between Celtic and Hibernian was great fun. The friendlies Celtic have played in Seattle were pretty watered down compared to the energy at a competitive league match at home. From what I've seen of Glasgow, it's pretty old and dumpy. Lot of crappy abandoned buildings in the outskirts.
So far have seen some pretty cool old stuff (old castles and chapels) and plan to see some more today. Isles of Mull and Iona are on the itinerary today.
Probably head back to the cabin tonight and then go spend a day in Edinburgh and possibly St. Andrews.
