My mother just called to tell me that my uncle passed away. He was my mom’s brother in law. He discovered he had cancer only 5 months ago. My mothers sister (his wife) passed away with cancer a year and a half ago. Now, seven of their children are parentless in less than two years. Granted, the youngest child is my age, but it has to be hard on those kids. I love and think of them..
I wasn’t very close to him (they lived far away for my entire life), but it’s still sad.
I had never lost a relative until I was 25 years old. In the past three years I have lost five relatives..
