what a long day

So, today we took the commuter rail on a day trip to Providence to see Brown University.

Matt waited a long time for the train.

South Station.

Finally we boarded the train.

Matt, Toria, and Matt were very happy about that.

Me and Andrea were too.

We walked to the campus and took pictures of the pretty buildings.

Andrea decided to be all myspacey during the informational session.

Walking through the Quad.

Toria was in deep thought about her college visiting experience.

Then we took a tour. This was our tour guide John.

Matt was angry cause he was cold. And everyone else was too. But they didn't show it as much.

It was very cold so we decided to all hold hands.

Then we kinda got a little lost.

And then we walked to the mall.

Eff you Power of Know Club.

Eff You Power of Know Club times 2.

Relaxing in Pottery Barn.

Being bored while Toria shopped in Guess.

Waiting for the train again.

& that was our day. ♥

Edit: Overall, my experience at Brown was a little bit above mediocre. The day was very fun, but the school visiting experience was not very informational. Providence is an amazing city: good size, mostly friendly people, a lot of stuff to do there. The informational session was not very informational at all. The tour was less than impressive as well, albeit that we froze our asses off. The buildings of the campus were awesome, great architecture and everything. But, we didn't even see the inside of a classroom or an undergraduate dorm room. It was as if the Brown faculty were not very prepared for visitors and based on what I have heard from other people that have visited there, they never are. I would have liked to experience more of Brown than we actually did. Overall, not impressive, its appealing factors have their limits, and doesn't seem very special, despite its honor of being Ivy League and one of the first great universities in America. Possibly, if something strikes me as appealing by looking further into the school as a whole, then the chances of me applying there and actually going there may increase.

Chances that I will apply there: 25%
Chances that I will go there if accepted: 50%
