A Day In The Summer
Oh twisted child,
Oh hidden face,
Sweet Impressions,
Of a dying age,
Warm warped gender,
Lifting the sea,
To see the dog sleeping,
Quietly beneath.
Curtain Up
The captain stroked his beard
as he sailed through the sea.
He licked his lips
and took a deep breath of the salty air.
The night was glorious,
no other word could describe it's beauty.
He closed his eyes
and felt the emptiness of the world around him.
Then he looked up
to sigh at the North Star.
