Jan 13, 2016 19:37
Although I have backslidden, I have made mistakes, I have consciously tried to move away from Him at times, Yahweh will not let me go, and for this I praise Him all day long. And even though I did stumble, I never stopped believing, I never abandoned His name, I never turned towards the Lie. I praise Yahweh since even though I am far from perfect, He reaches down and guides me.
Song 139:1-18
1. For the conductor, of Dâwíth, a melodious song.
Yâ-hwéh, You have examined me thoroughly and You know me.
2. You are Who has known what I dwell on and what I stand up for, You have had discernment for my intentions from afar,
3. You have sifted my walk and my prostration, so You have caused all of my Ways to become beneficial
4. because there exists no [other] utterance in my tongue: (5.) look! Yâ-hwéh You have known all of it:
5. hereafter and beforehand You have secured me so You might lay Your palm upon me -
6. a knowledge which is too incomprehensible for me, it has been set inaccessibly high, I cannot attain it!
7. Where could I go to, away from Your spirit? And where could I flee to away from Your Face?
8. If I would ascend the heavens, there are You, or if I would lay down in Sh’ówl, there You are!
9. I could lift off [following] the edges of the dawn, I would settle down to stay at the last part of the west,
10. even there, Your Hand is what would guide me and Your right Hand would grasp me.
11. Yet one would say, but Darkness is what would fall over me, even night would be light by my testimony!
12. even darkness, it could not be made darker than you, and the night would shine like the day, as the darkness would be like the light!
13. Because You are Who has earned my mind, You wove me together in the womb of my mother,
14. I will openly and joyfully acknowledge You on account of that among ones being reverent, I have been distinguished; marvelous are Your works, and my soul is one which acknowledges it greatly!
15. My potential was not hidden from You when I was made, in secrecy I was skillfully woven together in the lower parts of the Land,
16. Your eyes, they watched my fetus, and on Your book, all of the days had been recorded, they had been pre-ordained though not one existed among them;
17. And for me, how precious are Your purposes, O Power, how numerous are the top ones of them!
18. I would count them, but they would number more than the sand! I awaken and still I am with You.
