starting december 3rd 2004 i started keeping track of my pokerstars and party poker single table tournament statistics. from december 3rd til around february 4th i played 290 $5 tournaments. i won exactly 600.00. from february 4th til present Ive been playing $10 tournaments with less success. to date Ive played 230 $10 tournaments and have profitted 485.00. which is about half the return on investment i had at the $5 level, so Im essentially risking double to win the exact same amount. i have fairth that a few small losing streaks contributed to those numbers and over the next 700 or so everything should balance out.
during the beginning of february i also played 28 tournaments on partypoker, and had a 202.00 profit. its obviously unsustainable 65.6% ROI, so i kind of quit while i was ahead. those games are wild. and on a side note i played a $70 tournament at the Isle of Capri, and finished 2nd which paid roughly $770. I ended up winning a very very small amount on sports on the year, thanks to the patriots and hawkeyes for rebounding me several times.
