new job?
So I finally realized that working kids connection isn't going to pay the bills and get me out of Iowa by the end of the year. I realized this after seeing I had $13,000 left on my car, and I have only been able to pay $500 month on it for the past few months because of vacations and going out all the time.
A coworker for mine works at wells fargo 6:30-3 then the pm shift at ktc. So I decided I would do what he did and go through the temp-to-hire place he went through and see where it takes me. The first job they recommended and I interviewed for was the exact hours and location as him, so hopefully that works out. I just got a call from my representative saying it's between me and 1 other person and that I should know by the end of the day. If all things work out with this job, I could be out of Iowa before next Winter.
Pretty big winter storm the past 2 days, and didn't have to work today. I wouldn't have minded going into work so now I'm just bored at home with nothing to do. I've been catching up on a ton of movies lately though. I'm trying to go between watching classics and then new released ones. The other day I fit in: A King's Speech, 127 hours, and True Grit; which was sweet since they're all up for some academy awards.
