Well, summer is just around the corner! I just wanted to tell all of you who are graduating this year that it has been an honour being your teacher, and your friend. Probably catching up with my Muggle friends and playing soccer.

Muggle friends and Soccer, eh? That sounds very fun. Soccer is a muggle sport, yes? I'm a little rusty on my muggle sports knowledge, I'm afraid.

Yup! You basically kick a ball around a field. It's almost like Quidditch but no bludgers or snitches, and not played in the air. It's nothing compared to a Struggle match though.

Soccer sounds very fascinating! I would love to watch a match sometime. Would you mind telling me a bit more about Struggle, though? That sounds... violent.

Maybe if you visit Glasgow over the summer we could show you, Professor. And Struggle is a game we thought up when we were bored one year. You choose a bat and you need to collect these ball things called orbs from the other player. First player to 100 orbs wins.

They're plastic bats, though! It's not like they actually hurt unless you swing 'em real hard.

That sounds like a very creative way to pass the time! If only I were a bit younger, I think I might enjoy playing that.

That is indeed true, but I was more concerned with the fact that society would frown heavily on an old man hitting young teenagers with plastic bats!

Heh. I guess you're right about that. Still, we get a few older people watching. Maybe we could make a senior league?

You know, that is actually a wonderful idea, and I would certainly join! Though I do worry that I might hurt the other old men...

We'll make the bats softer. Like...pad them with something. Olette or Pence would probably know what to pad them with.

I will! Who knows? Maybe the Muggle Sports Club could do something next year and the teachers could have a match?
