안녕하세요!
School is absolutely killing me. Time to rant!
This is the only night this week that I will be somewhat free to breathe.
Calculus in particular is killing me. I got an A last semester, but I already started off this semester failing my first test and quiz, like completely failing, like I did not get a single problem correct kind of failing. I just absolutely hate logs, natural logs, exponential equations, and integration. But, I wasn't the only one who failed, a good number of students did, and so our teacher has been a jackass these past few days. >.< Stupid calculus is stressing me out so much that I actually ended up crying myself to sleep the night before the test because I knew I was going to fail no matter how much I tried to learn the concepts.
So, our English teacher decided that since we're an AP class that it was time to be like a real college class and so she is giving us a ridiculous amount of homework and like a 2 page analysis every couple of days. I am really starting to dislike her. Doesn't she realize that most of the students in her class have other AP classes with a lot of homework too????
Government and Economics is going fine. Unfortunately I've been slacking off in those classes and not doing homework because of everything else in every other class so I currently have a B, but hopefully I can bring it up.
Psychology is all right as well. I actually end up doing work from my other classes in this class, so I may not be learning as much as I should. Oh damn, our personality profile paper is due early next week, I should get started on that soon.
Surprisingly enough, Biology is not killing me like last semester. I'm still getting C's on the tests, but I have maintained an A so far. Hopefully it stays that way.
Enough about school.
In K-Pop world, 동방신기's 주문 - Mirotic 3rd Asia Tour in Seoul was this past weekend, and how I wish I could have been there. I saw all the fancams, pictures, and fan accounts, and it seemed like so much fun. Why do I have to be stuck in America? Or a better question, why can't I be rich? Then I would have been able to buy the tickets, fly to South Korea, and attend the concert. But I guess I'll have to settle for the DVD.
More Dong Bang news, their 26th Japanese single Survivor comes out on March 11th, but the PV was released a few days ago and OMG I absolutely love it. For some reason, a lot of people didn't really like it, but I did. =) And the song is really catchy too. I know they might not get 1st on the Oricon Weekly or even Daily Chart this time because they're up against tough competition (Kat-tun, Koda Kumi, and some other really famous artists), but if they did it would show how much their popularity has increased in Japan and that they are being recognized as Japanese artists and not just as the Korean group that sings Japanese songs. =)
And of course I've already pre-ordered both the single and their upcoming 4th Japanese album "The Secret Code". =) Maybe my purchases will make a difference on the charts. =D (Japanese CDs are freaking expensive! I spent almost $70 just on the album! But its because I wanted 2CD+DVD edition =P)
Anyways, my first loves Super Junior (슈퍼주니어) will be coming back in March with their 3rd album after 1 year and 6 months! I am so excited! I have been Super Junior deprived for almost a year now, and I miss them so much. I may like Dong Bang Shin Ki (동방신기) more now, but Super Junior will always be my first love. =D
Hollywood Bowl is just around the corner and I'm really exicited for this too! Especially since its on my birthday! =D So far only SHINee, Girls Generation, and Son Ho Young are artists that have been announced that I like. I really really really hope that Super Junior can come, and I really want Big Bang to come too! Unfortunately DBSK cannot come because they have their 4th Live Japanese tour on those days in Tokyo, but it would be a dream come true if they did. =D
So, I have recently become obsessed with a korean drama, Boys Over Flower (aka Hana Yori Dango in Japanese)! I am absolutely in love with it and the characters and the storyline and just everything about it. It was originially a very popular manga named Hana Yori Dango which was turned into a Japanese drama which was then turned into a Taiwanese drama and now a Korean drama. I hear there's a Filipino one in the works too. But anyways, I just love the drama to pieces. A new episode airs every Monday and Tuesday and this drama has become the reason why I dont hate Mondays as much anymore. =P
So my rant kind of turned into spazzing about new Korean and Japanese things. Oops. =P
