Weird subject, right? ;) This is just a ramble, and sometimes I hate coming up with titles ( Read more... )

Hey Jassy! Nice to see a post from you. I'm having a very BORING day at work today and hoping the flist will occupy my afternoon.

I used to do counted cross stitch myself, but haven't for years. People always teased me that it didn't seem like fun, but I found it relaxing and loved slowly creating a picture on a blank canvas. I can so relate to the way you immerse yourself into writing--I'm much the same way. Even the books I read lately are about writing! And I'm incapable of watching a movie without a writer's eye. ; ) I've been suffering from a bit of writer's burnout myself this past month. I'm still writing, but my heart isn't in it the way I like it to be. Writing isn't fun for me if I'm not feeling passionate about it, you know? It makes me feel as if my characters aren't alive.

I think I may have an unfinished cross stitch project somewhere at home. I'm so glad you shared this! It's a great idea I wouldn't have thought of on my own. Very excited to hear you're going to start up with Wire Game and Surviving again soon! *does happy dance* I've been reading old fanfic of Razzle's lately (since I've read all of your stuff at least twice *g*) and was just thinking last night that I wished you would get back to some of your V/O stories. At the very least you should finish them for your own sense of completion! : ) It's been awhile between chapters, I'll be forced to re-read all previously posted chapters just to remember what's happening. Oh darn...*g*

Hope you're having a great day! *hugs*

Oh yeah, been there, still doing that. ;) I've learned to keep it to myself though so I don't annoy my family. I did finally hit a point where I can just sit back and watch without picking the thing apart totally, but if the story doesn't suck me in to the world of the movie, then I revert back to writer mode and all I can see are components instead of story.

I always try to finish the stories I start, especially the ones I post. I hate the unfinished feeling of abandoning something halfway through. There's quite a bit of both stories left to tell.

*hugs* Here's hoping you have a good afternoon, sweetie.
