happy mother's day to all the mamas!!! :)
it's been a good morning so far - lucas, jay, and jack gave me some really nice cards (lucas ripped the one that he gave me - wah!). jay got me the veronica mars cd (YAY - listening to it now). lucas and jack gave me five pound hand weights and a padded exercise mat. LOVE IT!
jay's mom and gram came around yesterday so we were able to give them their gifts and they brought a yummy peach candle for me! my parents are coming today so i'll get to give my mom her gift and hopefully she won't surprise me with some sex toys. :P nooooo thank you.
jay's been working on the front steps with his dad. they need to completely rebuild them - the concrete was crumbling. i say was because now it's gone - they smashed them yesterday. they thought it would be a one weekend project but it's becoming increasing likely that won't be the case. we'll see how it goes.
lucas is down for his 10 am nap. they say that children thrive on routine and i'm sure that's true. but so do moms. or this one, at least.
