yum yum yummy in my tum tum tummy
lucas has been keeping me quite busy. i think that we are all now finally over our colds which is good because we were all feeling pretty rough there for awhile. lucas has been waking up around once a night still - hopefully he'll get over that soon! the cough is lingering for him but we are all 95% better.
thanksgiving was really nice! we drove to my parent's house on wednesday night and after lucas went to sleep, we met up with amanda, mary, brooke, stephanie, and jeremy at a bar. however it was really packed in there and unfortunately, i can no longer do the packed bar scene. so we moved to a mexican restaurant down the street which was much better! had "surprise ice cream" for amanda's birthday! and it was an all around good time.
thanksgiving was spent at my parent's house and my sister actually showed up. that made my parents happy so i'm thankful that she was there. plus, she got to spend some time with lucas and that's always important.
the day after thanksgiving jay and lucas were both feeling kind of crummy but we met up with my high school friends for brunch at the diner by my house. it was a lot of fun seeing everyone! however, it was clear that we were going to have to head home for the weekend because everyone was not feeling well. and then i got it too. woo. :(
so while it was nice, it was cut short. we are just now feeling better - slowly but surely. now we are trying to motivate lucas to crawl. we'll see how it goes! ;)
