lucas and i had gymboree today. next week all the kids are coming in their halloween costumes. i can't wait to see what everyone is going to be! SO CUTE!!!
speaking of halloween, i can't believe that october is almost over. didn't it just start? before you know it, it will be thanksgiving, the holidays, and then lucas will be ONE! i guess i better start thinking about what we are going to do for his first birthday. sometimes i think that it would just be smarter to do something low-key and small at our house. but i have a feeling that might not fly with our family members. i don't know.
tomorrow i am driving up to my parents house to meet up with a friend who will be in town for the weekend for her sister's wedding. i haven't seen her in a couple of years and she is looking forward to meeting lucas so it should be nice. we are going to stay at my parent's house on thursday night and head our friday morning for music together. plus, friday is my parent's 33 anniversary - so i can give them their present then.
PLUS, saturday we are going to the pumpkin patch down here with my parents and the inlaws (and matt's friends too). should be a nice weekend!
