my world is changing
jay and i had a "date night" last night. recently, our date nights consist of renting a movie (either blockbuster or comcast) and watching it while snuggling on the couch. lucas is already sleeping away in his crib for the night and it's just jay and i. and jack (the doggy). jack is especially present if there is popcorn involved, and there almost certainly is. ;)
so we watched i, robot and hung out with each other. it was nice - it's important that we are able to have time for ourselves.
yesterday was fairly trying too because lucas was cutting a tooth and just miserable. when he is miserable, it's like the trickle down effect and so are the rest of the members in the house. thankfully he is ALL smiles today which leads me to believe that tooth is FINALLY through breaking the gums. only 18 more to go - woo!
i'm starting with holiday shopping because i like getting things done and out of the way early. i have ideas for jay's aunts (three of them) and for a few other people - just have to start running around and getting things done. the sooner the better because then i don't have to worry later on. not sure what we are going to do for immediate family yet but i guess we'll get there.
yay - veronica mars starts up tomorrow. figured i could break out the ol' icon! :)
