047 That's Because I'm Bored

As i just finished my exams, I'm a little free now. I've just organised my papers and yada yada yada. And i wanted to share with everyone today on how i got addicted to CSI: NY. =D I know it's nothing necessary, but everyone has a story on how they got started on CSI: NY. So i would like to tell mine today. Just to those who are not interested, i'm putting it behind the cut. =)
*flashbacks to 6 months back*
*somewhere around in August*
Mum : Hey, are the CSI shows nice to watch?
Me : Not sure, watched it a couple of times on AXN. Quite okie i suppose.
Mum : I plan to download them from the torrents. Because i have nothing else to watch nowadays.
Me : Uh-huh. Up to you.
And so, my mum downloaded them and burned them into dvds.
*On one fine day*
I felt bored cuz the cable tv didnt have any interesting shows on. So, i decided to take the CSI: Miami Season 4 dvd and watched them. And so i watched....And watched...And watched... Till i got addicted to CSI: Miami. At least one day, i watched 5 episodes. Non-stop. Until this very one day...
*watches episode Felony Flight*
*Talking to myself* : Who's the other dude appearing with Horatio? Isn't he the guy from CSI: NY?? *blur*
*end of episode, a message appearing saying..*
To be continued..watch CSI: NY on CBS. Wednesdays at 10 pm.
*Tells self* : Damnit. *goes searching for episode Manhattan Manhunt*
*Managed to find it* *Puts dvd into player and watched*
At first, i was wondering whether i watching the right episode, but i figured it was correct when they put a recap. Anyway, during that episode, i managed to recap some of the cast a bit bcuz i watched CSI: NY once on AXN and that was Season 1. I remembered Danny, Stella and Mac. But i was shocked when i saw Lindsay. I was like "Who's that girl?? I've never seen her b4" And i saw Hawkes, "Isn't that the coroner guy??". Lol. To be HONEST, i din like Lindsay at first when i saw her in the eppy. Probably because she wasnt in the good mood when Danny called her Montana. So i assumed she was a pain in the arse. xD
After that CSI: NY episode, i never touched CSI: NY again. I was back to my CSI: Miami addiction. My mum and I kept on debating whether CSI: NY or CSI: Miami was better.
Mum : You should try watching CSI : NY. I think it's better than Miami. The research they do in the lab is more detailed than Miami. They explain about the chemicals etc.. In Miami, they focused more on the investigation and most of the time, you see Horatio puts and takes off his shades
Me : Whatever. I still prefer CSI: Miami. CSI: NY looks boring. *ignores mum*
I had that debate with my mum for a couple of times. But i ignored her and stick to my addiction. I finished the whole season in 4 days xD And so, i ran out of CSI: Miami to watch. And one night..
*runs to mum's room*
Me : What'cha watching?
Mum: CSI: NY..the one which you claim was boring.
Me : *gives her the look* Fine..I'll just watch it then, so you wouldnt debate with me anymore.
We watched the frst episode, Blink. And after that..i kept on watching and watching and watching.. xD
And yes, I found Danny very attractive and was immediately hooked to him. And so, i kept on watching until Season 2 ended. The cases were interesting and true enough, what my mum told me was correct. And i realised that Lindsay isnt a pain in the ass too xD Funnily enough, i really loved her character as i continue watching. =D
My mum teases me once in a while, quoting the line i once said about me saying "CSI: Miami is way much better than CSI: NY". *feels shameful*
And after Season 3 premiered, and after the "hug", i begin to be EVEN more ADDICTED to CSI : NY. I begin surfing the net seeing info on Danny and Lindsay. The first forum i bumped into was tv.com forums. Where i met a whole lot of nice ppl like Sugah =D
And on to DLC. And here i am today, hooked to CSI: NY. In love with Danny and Lindsay. If it wasnt for CSI:NY and D/L, i wouldnt have tot of learning to use Photoshop. Now that i'm so addicted, my mum tells me not to get too hooked to it. My brother says it's just a tv show for crying out loud, why be so addicted? But i don't give a damn. Bcuz i'm seriously addicted to CSI: NY. =D
So there's my story. I find it rather funny when i think bout it. Bcuz i din keep my words. And i simple assume without watching CSI: NY.
Anyway, can't wait for 2moro's eppy!!!!!!! Hope to see some D/L action! =D
