Writing again
Wooeee! I just wrote the first chapter of the new novel. Of course it's only 1200 words, but at least the darn thing is started. I'd like to write the beginning, maybe five chapters, THEN write an outline.
I love the way notebook pages feel when you're writing longhand. The pages get all stiff from the ink, and all crinkled from pressing so hard. They feel weighty and powerful, because you have used them for meaningful things. Instead of, you know, grocery lists or something. Notebooks like to feel important too.
