SHE'S HERE!
Oh. My. God. This is a story too good to be true!
I got my shipping notice YESTERDAY and today, here she is! One beautiful LatiDoll Cara!
I could not believe my eyes when I checked the EMS tracking this morning and it said she had touched down at the delivery hub in Perth at 0522. Surely that was wrong? I looked back and nope, she left Korea, went to Melbourne, then flew to Perth in ONE DAY! Amazing...simply amazing. I have never, ever had something ship that fast, especially something big like a doll which could incur customs fee's, or at least alert their senses. Nope, nothing!
I thought perhaps she might not be delivered because it was getting late, so I went to go pick up my FMA shirt which was delivered yesterday but got sent to the post office. (A very cool shirt, btw. Pics later :P ) So typically, while I was at the post office, the doorbell rang and my lovely roomie had to accept the box for me ^^
I hurried home, Squee'd over the box, then we ran to my room to open it. First I opened my shirt, which is damn cool and I'm so glad I bought it (going to wear it everywhere! ...and possibly buy another!) Then I attacked the Lati box which was so adorable with Latidoll written on the side with their logo. Then inside were the two boxes, wonderfully wrapped in bubble to protect them. And wow...beautiful boxes. The first box is a pretty white box with ribbons to secure it, and inside were her things including her wig, the extra wig I bought, her clothes, extra elastic and magnets (free! Thank you, Lati!), and her "birth certificate" and a book on restringing (which also has pretty pictures). The box below was my beautiful girl. A kind of cream colored box with the Lati symbol on the top. Inside was a pretty picture of the Basic Cara, then a layer of...foam, I believe. The entire box was lined with foam. Inside was my pretty girl wrapped in bubble.
My...she's SO beautiful! She's all I wanted and more. Her faceup is beautiful, her expression perfect. She has a beautiful body, so thing but adult looking. I popped her clothes on (which are very well made with working straps and pretty lace) and then put her default wig on. The wig is beautiful, but I know it will be hard to maintain the curls, which is why I also bought a straight one. OMG Lati wigs are WONDERFUL. The fibre's are just like real hair - silky, smooth, and styleable! It's quite static though, but that's because how fine it is. It's very nice. Shame there was nothing else I liked otherwise I would have bought another.
All round, I am VERY impressed by Lati. Great communication, wondeful products, fast shipping, they keep to dates, and they have extraordinary attention to detail. I totally recommend them to anyone who is interested.
At the moment she is wearing a dress of Miss Charlotte's, who was kind enough to lend it to her until she gets some clothes. The nighty is a little...scandalous. She is wearing the straight wig, as the curly one will be "photographs only", and all around is looking very beautiful.
And her name will be Yurika. Though I'm still to decide on a last name.
EDIT: Okay...so it seems to be "Yuriko" not "Yurika". I keep going to say Yurika, she gives me a look, and I saw Yuriko instead. So, she's named Yuriko. ^^;
