home for christmas
it's christmas eve. oh yes it is.
i have yet to wrap every single christmas present i bought, but it's okay cause i have a good eight hours before said presents will be opened.
i'm feeling fairly festive despite the lack of snow (which i'm actually thankful for) and the fact that i don't get to see evan throughout this merry jolly hoo-ha.
i've got my *nsync christmas music going, i'm running on day two of the best hair day ever and i'm probably gonna do some "merry christmas jenn" shopping at charlotte today because i realized last nite at work that we have some stellar christmas sales going.
maybe i should work more than once every two weeks and i'd be more aware of those kind of things.
hmm.
right now mom's making breakfast and i've got a cute holiday outfit picked out for the day.
we're totally watching "the grinch who stole christmas," cartoon version for sure, tonite for our traditional christmas-movie-during-supper deal and i'm pretty excited.
i can't wait to see what kind of camera i got.
wahooooo!
that and i can't wait to see my mom's reaction to her present from andi and me.
she's going to be SO stoked on life.
in other fabulous news, nicholas williams is home and i'm pretty sure i'm never letting him leave again.
yesterday jen, nick and i went to (welcome to) moe's and the dollar tree and then wacthed bio-dome and it was great.
just great.
this is what life was like before he left.
we were gonna go to lambeau, but we didn't have enough time cause i stupid had to work.
sigh.
i also had the pleasure of speaking with mr. "i'm in the navy and never around" jake and that was pretty great. until i listened to the voicemail on my phone, i forgot how much i missed that kid's voice.
well.
i'm gonna go eat breakfast with mom and les. then wrap presents and listen to more christmas music. then maybe make some tea and go to charlotte and wal*mart and finish up some things.
i'm feeling pretty talkative today due to the fact that no one wanted to talk to me last nite and everyone's doing christmas things with their families today, so i'm gonna try not to write in here every five minutes.
