Okay. So if I write a story, and offer it to someone to read, with the disclaimer, "You will think this is about people you know, but it isn't. It's about people who are very specifically not the people you know," and they read one sentence and go, without any hint of joking, "But her hair wasn't short and brown then, it was-"

IS IT REALLY THAT UNREASONABLE TO CUT THEM OFF?! I mean. Is it really that unreasonable to interrupt with, "I just told you it isn't about her. It isn't about anyone you know."

I didn't say it loudly. I did interrupt, but I didn't shout or anything. So, seriously. Did I deserve to get yelled at?

Yeah, I'm annoyed right now. Obviously. But answer me honestly... am I in the wrong?
