It's about people who are very specifically not the people you know," and they read one sentence and go, without any hint of joking, "But her hair wasn't short and brown then, it was-"
IS IT REALLY THAT UNREASONABLE TO CUT THEM OFF?! I mean. Is it really that unreasonable to interrupt with, "I just told you it isn't about her. It isn't about anyone you know."
I didn't say it loudly. I did interrupt, but I didn't shout or anything. So, seriously. Did I deserve to get yelled at?
