Yuletide! And Merlin.

Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and a wonderful 2013 to all.

Ah, Yuletide. Genuinely one of my favourite things about Christmas, and one of the few times in fandom my timezone works for me, because I get to have some sneaky reading as soon as I wake up before the family festivities begin.

I had two (2!!) lovely Yuletide stories this year, both Pointless RPF. Oh my God, if you've never seen Pointless find it and watch it. It's a BBC tea-time quiz show hosted by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman.

They are so delightful; clearly very, very intelligent, witty, funny, occassionally silly and definitely incredibly fond of each other. <3

Check out my delightful gifts:

which I adore.

And, so, Merlin, now I've had a chance to think about it...

They totally faked me out. I know, I know, they were all "he's going to die, you know. You know your Arthurian legend, right? Totally gonna die," all through the season. But I figured it was a bluff! I still managed to be surprised and upset! Those bastards.

But other than that, oh their love. Oh, their eternal legendary love. Their little faces! Their clutching hands! Hold me! (No really, Merlin fandom, hold me.)

And the last scene. Was that meant to make me feel better? His little sigh. He's been waiting so long! Come on, you stupid prat, where are you? *sob*
