I ve got a gig tomorrow its gunna be cool to be onstage again but probably really hot. playing shows can be fun but i dont really care much for it sometimes. Music never sounds as good live as it does recorded and if you got a really good band you can convey the same energy on a cd as in a concert. but hey who knows maybe i'll get some groupie love(haha who am i kidding im the bands sarcastic oafish looking bassist im not getting any) still shows are fun and we get to headline and hopefully increase our following(it is a pretty cool feeling for someone you've never seen before to walk up to you at like guitar center or something and tell you how much of a fan they are) i remember my first show in the band. god i was nervous about screwing up i had only been playing bass a month or two and i had no confidence in my skillz as a bassist. well its been over a year and now i honestly couldn't care less about going up on that stage and playing for you good people. Ill probably mess up more tomarrow then i did at that first show but it dosn't matter to me anymore. Its really weird to be the only 3 people there who know whats going on musically. you make mistake on stage and chances are unless its a big one no one knows you made it but you, the crowd is really pretty clueless about most little mistakes and even if they weren't it still wouldn't matter to me because after a few shows you realize that if you screw up all its really worth is a good laugh. onstage if you see me laughing or with a big fat smile on my ogreish face you can almost be sure one of us fucked up the song =)
