The Mega Film Watching Week - Part I PotC3
With the current season of Dr Who finishing last week I actually managed to free up time over the weekend to actually catch up on the films I'd missed by having Saturdays dictated by sci-fi fandom.
First up, Pirates of the Caribbean 3.
Nowhere close to as bad as everyone had been moping about. Seriously, I loved this film:
Definate highlights:
The last meeting between Elizabeth and her father. How to get the maximum amount of pathos in the tiniest of scenes.
The Black Pearl moving across the sand dunes on the horde of stone/crabs was an absolute beauty to behold.
They didn't cop out on the ending. After reading some of the faqs about the deleted stuff I'm so glad.
