eureka... not in a good way
well it's no wonder that my mom is so disappointed in me of late - i'm like quirky, shoe-obsessed Carrie from Sex and the City, whereas, on LJ alone, i have THREE friends who all resemble the ambitious Miranda. "your friends are lawyers and doctors but you..." you know the deal. it makes perfect sense b/c she herself would most resemble Miranda as well.

well, not on purpose. but that's the conclusion i'm coming to tonight...because it's fricking October 22 and i've already caught a cold. dude, flu season hasn't even kicked in yet! sure, it rained all weekend. and yes, i know that colds are, well, *common* but please, it's not like i'm a starved-for-sleep grad student or working 80 hours a week. then it would be totally excusable for me to have caught cold. but baby, that just ain't the case. plus i've been exhausted by midnight for the past week and i don't usually go to bed til 3am. i just ain't my normal self. age is creeping up on me just like Halloween or daylight savings. (yeah, ja, that's EXACTLY what it's like.)
well, you'd agree once i tell you i still have no great ideas for a costume yet. ok. that wasn't very compelling... (another sign of my aging brain to go w/ my aging immune system...)
