Tomato soup is a funny thing. The worst I've ever had was uninteresting but edible, merely sustanance. The best was an experience that I can only describe as sensual.

The soup I made this past weekend wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was pretty damn good.

Did I ever tell you about that time I made chili in Pittsburgh and the recipe called for a cup of flour when it really meant to call for a tablespoon? I hesitated like ten times and then poured it into the base of oil and ground meat saying, "this is wrong, this is wrong, this is so wrong..."

An extra beer and a pound of cheddar cheese couldn't save it. I won't use any adjectives. You can well imagine.
