In DC!
Ok, so, I'm in DC right now! Woo Hoo! Got down here around 11:30 this morning and met Cathy. We immediately went off to meet the group to tour the National Cathedral. Had fun on the tour and I took a shitload of pics which I will upload when I am back in PA or Indy. I am on the Verizon Aircard right now, so it could take years to upload them - haha! After the Cathedral we went down to the Potomac River in Gerogetown and had an early dinner at Tony & Joe's. It was delicious. Had a terrific French Martini - and I even learned how to make it - YUM! 1oz vodka, 1oz chambord, 1/2 oz triple sec! I also had Maryland Crab Cakes. It was nice sitting on the river overlooking the River and the Kennedy Center. I loved people watching - it was great! After dinner we went shopping down on M Street. Bought a couple t-shirts for myself and Andy. Then we got some ice cream at Haagen Daaz. After the ice cream we headed downtown to the Vietnam Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. Took lots of pics down there as well.
We're getting up early tomorrow and heading downtown to see the monuments and museums down at the Washington Mall. Another busy day - hope its not too humid! It got really humid this evening.
