Job Hunting
Holy crap that was fast! I posted my resume on Monster.com this morning and I just got called for an interview with Nationwide Insurance in my own town! Wish me luck guys, it's in two and a half hours!! I'm stoked! XD
EDIT: Well, apparently they're not looking for a general customer service or office receptionist (though that's what both their Monster ad and their application implied). They're looking for a career insurance worker, because it takes two years to train someone in the field their looking for and you have to go to school two nights a week to get licensed for it. Seems like it was a miscommunication to me. I'm just looking for something to hold me over for two years or so while I get my degree.
Ah well, no interview is a wasted interview, they all give you experience. ;) The guy also said that he often gets doctors in asking if anyone has been looking for office work, so he wanted to keep my application and give it to them if they come looking, which would be wonderful since I'm going into Medical Infomatics and Information Technology anyway. =D
