the joshes cometh?
After some e-mailing back and forth, I had invited the Joshes over for dinner when they get into town tomorrow. They seemed all grateful and enthusiastic, but they haven't confirmed whether or not they can come tomorrow. But it would be fun to see them. And I'm sure my mother will become obsessed with them. And...I plan to impress them with my baking because I'm an attention/approval-seeking dork.
The sad thing is I'm probably so fixated on this because there's pretty much NOTHING going on in my life right now. I'm totally confused as to how to pack for school, which I need to do SOON since I leave in less than a week and I have to ship all my crap ahead of time. Plus, half of the little appliance things they say to bring I plan on getting when I get to St. Paul, so I'm even more confused about what exactly I'm bringing. I need to get my iPod fixed so it doesn't show me a little frowny face reminiscent of a dead tamagachi when I try to turn it on. Oh, and I need a laptop. Arg. So...I guess it's much easier to look forward to dinner with the Joshes than to ponder the chaos that is getting ready for college.
