Today's mailbox was surprisingly fun. Got a sparkly new debit card and my AP scores. Well, score, I guess. Being the slacker I was second semester, I only took the English Lit test, but I got a 5 on it. Thank goodness I read Anna Karenina. Otherwise, that third essay would've sucked. I wish I could tell Ms. Christen, since she didn't want to let me take only 2nd semester English Lit AP. In your face, Carol.
Today also began fairly productively. Went to the levee with Rafe, washed him, did dishes, planned the tapas I'm making before the Nadal Wimbledon final tomorrow... Now I'm sitting around, reading, baking, watching TV... So much for productivity. Er. I guess this entry had no point, really. I'm just fairly content yet bored. I think July's going to be a really long month, but in a bad way. Most of the fun people from work are out of town, making things more stressful at camp, Alden's gone, putting a huge dent in my social life, and there's not much else for me to do. Except, I guess, the stuff I've been putting off forever (organizing my room, etc.). But I doubt I'll delve into that. I'll probably just keep baking too much, alternately fantasizing/freaking out about college, and reading. While my sister runs around with her many social circles. I guess I can look forward to August, when I go to see a pro tennis tournament in Cincinnati. But right now that seems very far away.
