Hi folks sorry had no computer here due to power lines exploding last w/e so here's the full update!
Week 4: had first lot of exams, passed no problems (did you doubt me?) As I said we had power lines here explode and the resultant feedback surge in power took out both my computers even armed with surge protectors. Also took out the phone lines! I actually saw the explosion, the power behind the wind, the blue/green spark as the the lines snaped, in retrospect I think it was very beautiful.
Week 5: Steve has left the class and now we have Bill, he's ok but I don't care for his style of teaching; here's the exam, here's where to find the power point with the info, go to it. How the hell can you learn like that? Towards the end of the week, us oldies that actually want to learn jacked up on those young guys and forced them into the center seats under the watchfull eye of the lecturer, suffice to say that they decided to leave early and those that did stay (both of them) actually learnt something, fancy that! Then on Thursday, Andrew got smegged off with them and sat them right where he could see them, an lesson worth laughing at. Stave was teaching a class up the other end (lab 3 and 4 are actually in one room, kinda hard on the learning if you hear someone getting yelled at up the other end). Staeve told Johno and Johno is sick of the kids as well and has decided that it's about time he started sorting out the chaff from the wheat, yay finally.
Cut my hair today and promtly got into trouble for doing so, see i decided that I'm sick of hair and i did it once before and it felt great, so I've done it again, yes I am now a skinhead! besides bald men have more fun, learnt that the last time I did it ;) I don't care what people say about it, I like it, besides, having that razor go over my head was rather soothing, guess the best female example would be like having a good wash at the hair dressers!
So who's been watching the Olympics? i have to confess to staying up all night watching them, Hockey, Archery, Shooting, Basketball, Judo and now on to the cycling where the Olympic record for the 1Km sprint changed hands 4 times in as many minutes, wow, talk about excitment!
Anyway, better go, got lots to work on now that the computer is back up and running (have to d/l all my IM's yet again and got lots of school work to do, besides I have letters to write, if you'd like a letter from me, drop me an email with where to send it ok, have to write one to Yahli and one to Elinor (now that i managed to catch up with her again).
Anyway, bye
Oh p.s. I'm going to Melbourne, Oct 2-9, going down to play dad for my son, have to see his doctors and specialists not to mention his school teachers and principle. Poor little bugger isn't fully up with it and is suffering from ADHD, no South Park jokes ok guys.
