Shipwrecked!
I hate to say this, but I think I've been avoiding this for long enough. My last post was March 10th for crying out loud!!!
I'm going to make this short:
Watch Shipwrecked, cuz it is a great movie that I haven't seen for a very long time, but I rented it tonight and I am going to watch it tomorrow.
I've been playing "Sid Meier's Pirates" which is a very nice upgrade from the sega version I use to play. It is a great game that has a lot of adventure mixed into it. PLAY IT!
I got a call today from a girl who I met at the Ice Arena that I work at on the 1st of this month.
Story:
I met her on the 1st of January (Sat). Then the next day I thought of a plan to get in contact with her again. I bought flowers for her on Tuesday and while I was there I grabbed one of their business cards. I then made a fake name badge, and some fake business cards. A lot of fun putting all together. Then I wrote her a letter, and the next morning I went to her school and delivered the flowers to her with my information.
End Story.
Well, she called me just as I was taking off for work. What a suprise it was. She expressed how happy she was and suprised she was to get the flowers. Yes it did take her 3 weeks to finally call me back, but it was fine. It was a lot of fun putting together, so I feel it was worth it. She "loved" the flowers so very much, so that makes me happy.
I then took off for work, got pulled over going 65 in a 45. My luck! It was cool though, because the sheriff fella got a dispatch and had to take off. Which means that I got away with just a verbal warning...my lucky day!
If you don't know:
I live in Klamath Falls now.
I have 3 roommates who are awesome friends from Salem.
I live in a townhouse with those roommates.
I go to OIT (Oregon Institute of Technology).
I am a freshmen there, but I get Junior status, which is awesome.
I am a single man now.
I like to sing like a maniac in my car and make up stupid songs (that will sell for millions) with my buddy Jordan.
I have a dog named MalaKai who is living at my parent's house, because the weather down here is too cold for him. Especially since I have two jobs and go to school.
I work at the outdoor ice skating rink down here in K-falls.
I also just got a new job working at my school here in the CSET department. (Computer System Engineering Technologies)
I think that is all that is important right now.
