Winter Retreat was this weekend, and it was awesome! It was a lot of fun spending time with people who I don't normally, and fun to be away from those people who I do spend all my time with. I spent a lot of time playing fuseball with Elaine, this adult-leader Brad, and his co-leader Matt. Brad is an awesome guy (married with 5 kids, don't worry) and it's nice to have a positive male influence. Other than playing fuseball, I honestly tried everything. I went tubing, played broomball, played volleyball, yea, all that good stuff.
I'm ready for school to start tomorrow, now. I'm ready to take on next semester, whether or not I have the same awesome teachers as I did last semester. I'm ready for it. It'll be really weird without Amy and Britney there, but then maybe that will give me a chance to make some new friends. Plus, without them having such an insane schedule, hopefully we'll all be able to hang out more.
Today I believe I am going to go out to lunch with Amy. Then, I'm not quite sure what. I've kinda been thinking about going to visit Mr. Brown, because Brad used to teach with him, and so we talked about him a bit this weekend. I think he'd be pretty surprised to see me. Might be fun. Yep, and then I work 5-8, blahh.
