While I (seem to) have everyone's attention...heh :-)
- First of all, I am ridiculously embarrassed pleased to report that I have finally fixed the aspect ratio of Maneater once and for all. You know, the thing I thought I fixed last time. After I hadn't fixed it the first time. That I actually made worse the second time. (And only just realized last night. Go me!) So, if you are so inclined, (and I promise whatever version you do have is wrong), you may get the honest-to-god, really-the-last-time-I'm-posting-this-until-2010 version here. Believe me, I know how annoying this is. I really do apologize. You are all a very patient and dedicated crack audience.
- Nextly, I am floored and humbled and moved by all the comments I'm getting on my vid posts and epic novel VVC report. My inbox has never been 2 pages before! Thank you, everyone. I will respond to everyone as soon as I can. (Hell, I can't believe so many of you actually read all that.) And if anyone wants to just point someone to my report instead of writing their own, I'm totally fine with that. If my individual experience hits enough of your plot points, then hey, why not!
- I spent a whopping four hours last night trying to get a goddamn decent encode of my Will & Grace vid under 50MB. Very long story short, I actually had to rip my own vid from the VVC dvds, but I got it. I will post it this morning.
I'm still very much in the throes of post-VVC farr with a lengthy to-do list (download vids, rec vids, feedback vids, post vids, update webpage, finish watching dvds, make new mix cd, email newbies, start newbie comm, etc etc OMGWTFVVC!). Not to mention finishing up strangefandom and actually paying attention to real life. I will have to catch up on everyone's ljs individually, so please give me some time. I do da best ah can. By next week, we should be back to the regularly scheduled flocked-posts-not-all-about-vidding program.
