I tried to find a moment at the con to pull you aside and tell you how much I loved this vid, but I'm bad at that. However, as a fan of the show, I have to say - I so love the way you distilled out the essence of the love story, and you sort of bent the ugliness and violence of that life Spartacus leads into something both beautiful and desperately sad using the song and the visuals. I'm really glad you made this vid.

Thank you, Destina! I actually heard from two other people that you really like the vid, so I knew :-D Thank you for leaving a comment; what you said about trying to use the ugliness as something beautiful is definitely what I was going for. I wanted to put a spin on the violence in the show and display the purpose behind it for him. He's not just killing people because he likes killing. I'm glad if that came through clearly in the vid!

I've never seen the show, but this vid really grabbed me by the throat in premieres. The longing was just so palpable. And it hurt so much at the end.
